Together with the B-Trust project, FEASTS is co-hosting Masterclass 5: Co-creating Trust: Cultivated Cells. The session offers a deep dive into public attitudes towards emerging food technologies like cultured meat and seafood. It is part of an exclusive series of 8 masterclasses run by B-trust. The series explores the crucial role of consumer perceptions in shaping the future of responsible development of food biotechnology in Europe.

Donโ€™t miss this unique opportunity to gain cutting-edge insights from B-trust and FEASTS into vital topics around consumer trust and innovation. FEASTS partners CSCP and Aarhus University will present the results of their research on:

โœ… Barriers and drivers of consumer acceptance of cultured meat and seafood by Prof. Polymeros Chrysochou of the MAPP Centres at Aarhus University, and

โœ… Overview of persona profiles of different consumers and how to approach/engage them by Charis Hoffmann of CSCP.

Presentations will also address the scenarios, social acceptance and technical readiness for cell-cultivated foods (Carlos Campillos of GFI Europe). There will be insights from B-Trustโ€™s co-creation workshops with farmers and consumers presented by Heleen Imschoot of Flanders Food and Sofia Ros Palomares of FOOD+i. Finally, Iรฑigo Charola of BioTech Foods will share his thoughts on industry perspectives on market barriers and growth opportunities.
